David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is a famous American journalist, anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. Its stunning video footage as well as the animated movements make it the most watched American newscast. Made In America, his Emmy Nominated show is one of his other accomplishments. Before joining ABC World News Tonight, He was the main substitute for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. The primetime newscasts on ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint Refugees in America. He's traveled to numerous countries around the globe covering the current news. from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. He was awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards, in addition to distinctions from The Associated Press.
